The socialist thought of Ram Manohar Lohia was extremely revolutionary and original. He considered social inequalities to be the root of all problems. Therefore, the main goal of his socialism was to establish equality, just as there is spiritual and material equality in the complaint, in the same way equality should also be established in society. Lohia was in favor of developing Indian socialism according to the circumstances of the country. Lohia did not fully agreed with democratic socialism. He believed that only the true ideal of socialism can be achieved according to the Gandhian method. Stating that Satyagraha was the only effective weapon for Indian socialism, he stressed on the adoption of Satyagraha. In the absence of power, resistance to injustice and tyranny can be done only through satyagraha, he believed He laid emphasis on industries based on small machines. Lohia ji raised the slogan of 'New-Socialism'. He gave five important principles of new socialism which are equality, democracy, non-violence, decentralization and socialism.
1) Religion has a special effect on politics, both caste or species affect this politics.
2) The politics of opponents is suppressed on the basis of power and violence.
3) The birth of a middle-class category which is influenced by bureaucracy and politicians whose attitude, habits and thinking is Europe.
4) Skilled leadership to Yantra artists whose work is unimportant.
5) There is a complete lack of integrated social philosophy, policies and programs. This last disease is the root of all diseases.
